Liability:
North Fjord Kayak reserves the right to modify or alter kayaking routes, itineraries, launch locations, or time schedules without prior notice if conditions require it. This may include changes due to weather, sea state, tides, safety concerns, or other operational factors.
Kayaking activities inherently involve outdoor and water-based risks. By participating, guests acknowledge and accept these risks, including but not limited to changing weather conditions, cold water exposure, currents, and physical exertion.
North Fjord Kayak accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury, illness, accident, delay, or inconvenience caused by circumstances beyond its control. This includes, but is not limited to, weather conditions, sea conditions, transportation delays, equipment failure, or third-party actions. Any such losses or expenses remain the personal responsibility of the participant.
Payments:
North Fjord Kayak accepts the following methods of payment: major credit cards, including Mastercard and Visa, via our online booking system.
All online payments are processed securely, and no additional fees are charged for credit card transactions when booking tours or services through our website (Bókun) . Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellations:
All cancellations must be made in writing and sent via email to northfjordkayak@gmail.com.
If email is not accessible, please contact us by phone to notify us of your cancellation. However, cancellations are only considered confirmed once received in writing.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time of the kayaking tour will be charged in full. This policy applies due to limited group sizes and preparation required for each guided kayaking experience.
Please note that different cancellation policies may apply for bookings made through third-party operators, agents, or resellers.
Refunds:
Tours booked directly with North Fjord Kayak are eligible for a full refund if cancellation is requested at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time.
No refunds will be issued once a kayaking tour or service has commenced.
If a tour is cancelled by North Fjord Kayak due to unsafe weather or sea conditions, participants will be offered either a full refund or the option to reschedule.
For bookings made through travel agencies or third-party providers, refunds must be processed through the original point of purchase.
Warranties:
North Fjord Kayak strives to ensure that all information provided on its website and promotional materials is accurate and up to date. However, the content may occasionally contain inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information.
North Fjord Kayak reserves the right to make changes to website content, tour descriptions, and pricing at any time without prior notice and accepts no responsibility for errors or omissions. No guarantee is made that all information will always be current or complete.
