Tandem kayaking adventure around Akureyri for 2 hours ish! You'll team up with a buddy and paddle along the stunning coastline, taking in the beautiful scenery or Akureyri from the oceran perspective. The highlight of the trip is gliding right beneath a geothermal waterfall and we can possibility hike to the geothermal river feeding the waterfall and jump into the spring. Either way, whether you're a seasoned kayaker or just looking for a fun new way to explore AK city, this adventure is a perfect way to see Akureyri from a whole new perspective and learn about the history and local wildlife.

        • Kayaking activities inherently involve outdoor and water-based risks. By participating, guests acknowledge and accept these risks, including but not limited to changing weather conditions, cold water exposure, currents, and physical exertion.
        • We will get wet (It is a water-sport so expect to be a bit wet)
        • Might get cold or warm (it is all up to the weather we will have that day but get ready for everything)
        • Be open minded (we cannot control the wildlife or the weather)
        • You will be kayaking in your own clothing (expect of a water-repelent jacked we can provide or you can use yours if you have a better one)
        • Take spare clothing!
        What to bring
          • Warm woollen or fleece clothing including top, bottoms and socks. Please avoid cotton as it keeps you cold when wet and takes a very long time to dry.
          • Soft shoes like trainers or even flip flops if it’s a warm day (they might get wet)
          • Sunhat, sunglasses and sunscreen, it can get sunny up here!
          • Water bottle
          • Warm water bottle (if you get cold easily)
          • Medication if needed: heart medication (aspirin etc.), sweets (sugar), EpiPen etc.
